6.6 C&C Samples - Octagon

There will be an addition to the octagon this year.  Along three sides of the octagon, floating on the surface, there will be inflated beach balls.  These balls will be held in place via the PVC structure incorporated into the octagon.  You will need to "push" these balls out of the octagon for points/bonus.

These are the beach balls we'll be using, and here is the octagon.

High Risk, ??? Reward

So right off the bat, the major concern with this would be accidental surface outside the octagon. I'm not sure if it is your intention to make this a "risky" task, but it is definately a big discouragment from trying a whole new class of tasks (we have very little experience with vision or manipulation of surface objects) if being off by a matter of inches would cause the run to be terminated.

Since this is a brand new task, we have no idea what the points reward for it could look like. Would it be similar to a Buoy ram, Torpedo shot, or recovery object classified?

Knocking a ball out of the octagon? Priceless

Since this is a new task, and as you've rightly surmised, a potential risky one, I'm leading towards a point value somewhere between touching a buoy (~400) and correct large torpedo task (~1000).
