Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS)
JSHS is a high school STEM competition that promotes original research and experimentationand enables students to compete for recognition, scholarships and awards. Science, Mathematics & Research for Transformation (SMART)
The SMART scholarship is an opportunity for STEM college students to receive full tuition and be gainfully employed upon degree completion. There is a one-for-one commitment; for every year of degree funding, the scholar commits to working for a year with the Department of Defense (DoD) as a civilian employee. Summer internships prepare scholars for full-time employment and get them accustomed to working with the DoD.
