On behalf of the RoboNation community, I’d like to honor the life and legacy of Wendy Siminski. Wendy was one of the very first employees of the AUVSI Foundation, as it was known then. Her energy was critical to the startup nature of what we were doing at the time, and she wore many hats. From program development to marketing, she was instrumental in the shift from the former organization to what is now RoboNation. But most importantly, she brought her trademark passion to the job and helped broaden the perspective and impact that we had on countless students across the world.
Wendy will be dearly missed. We are thankful for the very fond memories we have — of her spirit, her smile and her lasting influence in so many lives.
