RoboNation at Indo Pacific 2025: Workforce Development from AUKUS to Autonomy
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA — RoboNation, a global leader in hands-on workforce development and maritime autonomy education, will exhibit at the 2025 Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition in Sydney, Australia from November 4-6, 2025. As AUKUS Pillars 1 and 2 advance trilateral commitments to nuclear-powered submarines and emerging technologies, one question looms large: who will build, maintain, and innovate these systems?
RoboNation’s answer: Students participating in RoboNation’s educational programs.
With more than two decades of international experience in STEM education and workforce development, and a focus in uncrewed systems, RoboNation has equipped thousands of young people across AUKUS nations and beyond to pursue careers in shipbuilding, robotics, engineering, and maritime autonomy. From soldering their first circuit board to programming autonomous vehicles in the field, students gain the hands-on experience essential to filling urgent workforce gaps.
“Investing in ships and systems is only half the equation; the other half is people,” said Daryl Davidson, President and CEO of RoboNation. “The AUKUS alliance will be only as successful as our efforts to train a generation ready to lead in autonomy, engineering, and the skilled trades. That’s what RoboNation delivers: a talent pipeline forged through real-world problem-solving, technical excellence, and allied collaboration.”
By participating in the 2025 Indo Pacific Maritime Conference, RoboNation underscores the importance of workforce development in sustaining the AUKUS alliance. The need for skilled tradespeople and technicians is acute, and the industrial base requires continuous investment to avoid supply chain bottlenecks. Through programs that engage students from across AUKUS nations and beyond, RoboNation demonstrates that a cooperative approach to education can help meet these challenges.
As AUKUS nations confront a narrowing window to resolve critical shortages in trades and technical specialties, collaboration is essential. Through targeted early education and advanced university-level programs, partnering with RoboNation enables you to develop and shape the future workforce to meet the demands of your industry.
At Indo Pacific 2025, the RoboNation team will be at Booth 1C20 in the USA Pavilion .
